Mturk.com & This Weekends Meal Plan

So since I just moved to New Jersey and am in the process of getting my cosmetology liscense transferred, I'm not working right now. I am possibly getting a job at comedy club as a cocktail waitress but I'll post more on that later!

So money is pretty tight this month because we have a few things going on:

  • We're moving to a new place June 1st so we had to pay a deposit and first months rent and the rent of the place we are living now.
  • Next week I'm going out for a bachelorette party in Atlantic City
  • The week after, I'm going home to Charleston for a week
  • Also we've been spending some money to outfit our new place, since the place we have now is furnished all of our stuff is boxed up in one of the bedrooms I'm so excited to move and finally unbox bridal shower and wedding gifts! But along with this we just purchased a couch for our place, a new comforter set, we plan on getting a kitchen table etc.
SO, the point I'm getting to is we're pretty broke! Lol So I was looking up some money making ideas online and came across https://www.mturk.com A site run by Amazon where you do HITS (Surveys, questionares, tasks) Which you are payed for and can have the money sent to your bank account or given as an Amazon credit. So I did a few tasks over the past few days.. I've made a whole whopping $4.28 tho a few of my tasks havnt been approved yet so I should be making a few more cents as soon as those go through lol. I DO NOT reccomend doing this if your trying to make money, if you are in between jobs and waiting for something and/or have free time to stare at computer screen for .05-.30 cent at average task.. Go for it. lol Seriously tho for the few dollars ive made I might could have found that in change in my car if I spent that time cleaning my car out.

On another note, me and Gage have been making meal plans for the week so we get everything we need in one grocery stop because we were literally going to the grocery store once a day ATLEAST for only a few items lol. So this weekend I'll be making a few pinterest recipes and some Micheal Symon wings I posted about a few posts back! I'll let you know how they turn on out on my next post!

My Brazillian Butt Lift workout came yesterday! After that and then Zumba in the afternoon I am sore! It came with a measuring tape in a week I'm gonna see if I see any results yet, since we dont have a scale at the house yet.
It also came with a 30-day supply of Shakeology, I had tried these once before at a friends, they are amazing! I got online to see how much they were per month and was so dissapointed to see they are $100+! Holy cow. They do taste delish and sound to be pretty good but Ill have to test that for myself over the month.

Last weekend when Gage got off work we made these little guys.

Breakfast Muffin Cups
makes 8 muffin cups
Ingredients
  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 8 eggs
  • Cheese of your choice (We used white american because it was what we had)
  • Cooked bacon/sausage (I used bacon)
  • Butter or Non-stick cooking spray

Preheat oven to 350, Using butter or non-stick spray, grease muffin pan. Place one cresent roll triangle per muffin cup, spread to cover muffin cup as best as you can
Place your cheese of choice in each cup, Crack an egg over each cup (Or beat in bowl for a more scrambled egg effect) Sprinkle cooked bacon or sausage over top, Place in oven and cook for 15-18 minutes, let cool 10 minutes or so then enjoy :) !

My photographer posted a couple sneak peek wedding pics this weekend.. I'm so beyond excited to see the rest! It takes a few weeks but she said she will post a few more along the way.

Over the week I saw The Hunger Games and 21 Jump Street. Both were really good! I did not read The Hunger Games book so I can't compare to that, but as a person who knew no background of the story I really enjoyed it. 21 Jump Street looked so corny in previews but I kept hearing how good it was and it has Channing in it so I figured it was worth a shot, me and Gage laughed the entire time!

On a fitness note, yesterday I bought the Brazillian Butt Lift workout! It should be in between Tuesday and Friday, so excited! I've done the workout a handful of times back home with a friend who had it, its actually pretty tough! I plan on posting about it as I go.

New chapter in life, so I've decided to start a blog!

My name is Amber a little over a week ago, April 1st, 2012 (yes, April Fools Day) I married the love of my life, Gage

This is when he proposed to me after I got off the plane back in October

Few days after our wedding we packed my stuff and drove from our home Charleston, SC to Cape May New Jersey.. Gage is in the Coast Guard and was stationed here in October, we've been managing long distance for the past few months.

I'm a hair stylist and make up artist and currently a sit at home and be bored wife lol until I can get my liscense transferred to New Jersey. I plan on blogging about my day to day trials and tribulations of being a Carolina girl gone North.. of course hair make-up and fashion, and maybe a few recipes and crafts in between. It should be very interesting... New Jersey.. here I am.. lol o.o
